HNW family seeking experienced full-time Lead Housekeeper for a luxury estate in the Miami,
FL area. Lead housekeeper must be a team player with excellent people skills, a straightforward communication style and the ability to reflect the family’s values when interacting with others.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience taking care of a large, high-end home. They will
thrive in a positive culture of high standards, and in a collaborative and fast-paced work
environment. Attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptability to change in routines must be
embraced daily. The position requires an elevated level of organization, attention to detail, and
well-developed intuition. It also requires discretion, maturity, and overall good judgment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Lead Housekeeper will oversee the housekeeping staff and report directly to the Estate
Manager. Typical tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating and working side by side with the team and setting clear expectations for
housekeepers. - Regular specialty cleaning, upkeep, and maintenance of living spaces and furnishings.
- Ability to perform museum-quality cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (wood,
glass, leather, furniture, antiques, silver, fine artwork, etc.). - Making beds and changing bed linens.
- Provide thoughtful care for the principals’ clothing and wardrobes including laundry,
steaming, and dry-cleaning management. - Closet management and organization.
- Assist with travel packing/unpacking.
- Making purchases online and in person, including groceries and running errands.
- Maintaining inventories of household items, including client preferences and back of
house stock. - Assisting in preparing for events of all sizes.
- Assist with client service, including setting up areas for client use, including table setting
and decor, and working with the team to rearrange rooms. - ”Pitching-in” and helping co-workers with their job duties while always being a team
player. - Other duties, special requests and projects as requested.
Qualifications: - Ability to work with the highest degree of confidentiality.
- Minimum 5+ years related experience working in a large private home in a similar role.
- Must be resourceful and able to research and procure items on the internet.
- Experience with data devices and communicating with smartphones.
- Fluent in English verbally and written.
- Willingness to work occasionally weekends/evenings as needed.
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of a thorough background investigation and reference check.
Schedule:
This is a non-exempt full-time position. Candidate must be flexible and willing to work weekends
and potentially on Holidays. Schedule is generally (5) days a week (Monday-Friday) while the
client and/or guests are not on-site. When clients are in the residence, hours will
increase/change as needed just before, during and after principals are in residence; long hours
should be expected during these times.

- Must be able to climb and descend stairs and ladders safely.
