Estate Manager needed for private family in Monmouth County, NJ. Starting salary $150K annually. Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estate Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of a 400-acre property featuring:
• Main House and 4 Guest Houses
• Studio
• Barn with 10 horses
• Paddocks
• Large flower garden
• Small vegetable garden
• Fully operational organic farm (farmed by outside vendor)
Specific job duties include:
• Oversight and maintenance of all grounds and structures, both inside and out
• Vendor management – scheduling, supervision, billing
• Develop and maintain policies and processes necessary to keep the property running efficiently
• Supervise a staff of 30 – scheduling, vacation requests, payroll, hiring/training
• Manage occasional events
• Ensure farming operations maintain organic certification
• Additional duties as requested by the Principal
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years estate management experience
• Minimum 2 years farm / barn management experience
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Organized, detail-oriented
• Professional, honest and trustworthy, requiring the utmost confidentiality and discretion
• Strong communication and management skills
• Flexible scheduling, plus ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Expertise in the English language (both written and oral), bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
• Valid Passport
• US Work Authorization
• Valid Driver’s License plus a clean driving record
