Chef needed for a prominent family in Beverly Hills, CA! (Starting Salary: $150K+/annually + full benefits)!

Stellar chef needed with at least 3-5 year’s experience working for HNW families with children, able to travel with the family to their residences and on holiday, EU passport (ideally with the right to work in the UK), Flexible days off of the week and hours based on family needs, normally serving Lunch and Dinner Daily for 2 adults and 4 children, also longer day with breakfast.

Have a good international and European cooking repertoire of simple, refined cooking able to cook special diets such as Keto, Vegetarian and without Gluten, bake, and creative children’s fare. 

COOKING

    1. Consistently prepare high-end restaurant-quality meals with exceptional taste and presentation. 
    2. Use only organic or high-quality, or otherwise previously approved ingredients for preparing dishes for the family. 

    FAMILY PREFERENCES / MENUS 

    1. Maintain detailed and organized notes about the family preferences, favorite recipes and favorite ingredients for each family member, for your own reference, and also so that someone can fill in on your days off or while you are out and provide as consistent of an experience as possible. 
    2. Prepare weekly menus offering both staple items and favorites, along with surprise and innovative dishes for the family to select from. 
    3. Communicate with the family promptly for their meal selections to ensure that sufficient time is allowed to prepare family meals and obtain ingredients that are not already in stock. 

    SHOPPING / STOCK

    1. Shop for the freshest organic ingredients available and prepare menu items around the availability of items, such as a recommended or exceptional cut of meat or fish from the butcher. 
    2. Take a daily inventory of all pantry and perishable items to ensure that there is sufficient supply for basic and weekly menu items. 
    3. Promptly remove and never serve expired items from the home. Check all perishable items daily. 
    4. Do not over-purchase perishables, and only purchase a reasonable quantity of pantry items to avoid waste. 

    SERVICE

    1. Work in close coordination with the Butler to ensure a smooth meal service. 
    2. When a butler or suitable staff member is not available, always be willing and ready to serve meals yourself. 
    3. Always keep the kitchen, ovens,  refrigerators, freezers, pantries and food storage areas in a highly organized and extremely clean state. 
    4. Wash dishes and thoroughly clean food preparation areas.
