Experienced full-time Housekeeper needed for prominent couple in the Miami, FL area. The ideal candidate will thrive in a culture of high standards and can easily adapt to changes in routines. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Housekeeper will report directly to the Estate Manager and work closely with other
household staff. Typical tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- All aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, and upkeep of the residence.
- Ability to perform museum-quality cleaning.
- Follow cleaning checklists and ensure all aspects of the property, both interiors and exteriors, are maintained and cleaned to the highest standard at all times.
- Making beds and changing bed linens.
- Washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
- Organizing closets, pantries, and storage areas.
- Assist with stocking and maintaining inventories of household items.
- Assist with all elements of service.
- Travel to other locations to provide operational support as needed.
- Assisting in preparing for events of all sizes.
- Other duties, special requests, and projects as requested.
Qualifications: - Ability to work with the highest degree of confidentiality.
- Minimum 5+ years of related experience working in a private home in a similar role.
- Experience with data devices and smartphone communication.
- Fluent in English verbally and in writing.
- Available to work occasionally on weekends/evenings as needed.
- Willingness to travel to support other locations as needed.
- Professional in appearance and demeanor always.
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of a thorough background investigation and reference check.
Schedule:
This is a non-exempt full-time position. Candidate must be flexible and willing to work weekends and potentially on Holidays. The schedule is generally 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) while the client and/or guests are not on-site. When clients are in the residence, hours will increase/change as needed just before, during, and after a client visit; long hours should be expected during these times.
