A prominent private family is seeking an exceptional full-time Private Chef to join their household and create beautiful, health-conscious meals in a warm family environment. Chef must be able to travel as needed with the family (domestic & international)
The ideal candidate has a refined yet approachable culinary style, with a strong focus on clean, organic, seasonal ingredients. We are looking for someone who brings warmth, creativity, organization, and a genuine love of caring for a family through food.
The household enjoys elevated, fresh cuisine that is healthy without feeling restrictive. The chef should be equally comfortable preparing sophisticated adult meals, nourishing everyday family dishes, and thoughtful meals for children.
Ideal Background & Style
● Previous experience as a private chef for a high-profile or UHNW family
● Fine-dining, Michelin-level, or luxury hospitality experience highly valued
● Strong knowledge of organic, clean, nutrient-dense cooking
● Beautiful presentation with an elevated but unfussy approach
● Comfortable preparing Mediterranean, California, French, Italian, and contemporary healthy cuisine
● Experienced with children’s meals and family-style dining
● Knowledgeable about high-protein, lower-sugar and wellness-focused cooking
● Warm, nurturing, positive personality
● Impeccably organized, clean, and detail-oriented
● Discreet and respectful of family privacy
● Collaborative and comfortable working alongside household staff
● Flexible and able to travel with the family when needed
Responsibilities
The Private Chef will oversee menu planning, sourcing premium ingredients, grocery shopping/provisioning, daily meal preparation, kitchen organization and cleanliness, pantry management, and accommodating dietary preferences and special requests.
