After months of speculation, the Palace has announced the name of Prince George's new nanny. According to E! Online, the baby's new caretaker is named Maria Borrallo and she is reportedly in her thirties.
The experienced nanny will join Kate Middleton and Prince William on their upcoming tour of New Zealand and Australia. The royal family will embark on their three-week journey next April and this trip will mark baby George's first official public appearance.
Although the Palace hopes to keep information about Borrallo private, they released a statement saying that the Duke and Duchess are "delighted" to have her on board. Additionally, an insider told Hello! Magazine that the Spanish-born babysitter has worked for other high-profile families, which is how she first caught the attention of Will and Kate. Various news sources have also reported that she received educational training at Norland College.
"She is not married and doesn't have a boyfriend, as her life is totally dedicated to the family she is working with. She is known for being totally professional—married to the job," the inside source told the publication.
Borrallo joins the royal family after their previous nanny, Jessie Webb, reached the end of her contract a few months ago and retired from her duties.
