Seeking an experienced, polished, and flexible Private Chef for a lovely young high-net-worth family based
in Beverly Hills. Chef MUST have at least 8 years of experience cooking for private clients, with the ability to travel occasionally with family.
Chef will be responsible for primarily daily lunches and dinners, but needs to be flexible during Holidays and occasional weekend events.
The chef will oversee all culinary and kitchen-related aspects of the home, helping to create a hotel-like
environment where the family’s preferred foods, beverages, snacks, morning items, freezer items, and
Serving pieces are always thoughtfully stocked and available.
Responsibilities include menu planning, grocery shopping, meal preparation, kitchen organization, and maintaining a clean, tidy, and sanitary workspace. The chef is expected to clean as they go and maintain the refrigerators, freezers, pantry, dry goods, and culinary storage areas.
This is a fully staffed, cohesive, and busy household. The chef must be comfortable collaborating with
housekeepers, the nanny, and the family manager to ensure a smooth and well-organized household
environment. While support is available when needed, the chef is expected to take ownership of the
kitchen and culinary areas.
The chef will also collaborate with a weekly nutritionist and will be responsible for entering at least one
principal’s meals into a digital food diary. Comfort with nutrition-focused cooking, portion awareness, and
healthy meal preparation is a plus.
The chef needs to be comfortable and patient with children and willing to learn what children like/dislike.
Flexibility with meal timing is required, and schedules may shift. The ideal candidate will be calm, organized, discreet, proactive, and professional.
