The Estate Head Butler is a senior service professional responsible for delivering exceptional personal
service to the Principal and family while supporting the overall operation of multiple residences. This
role requires discretion, emotional intelligence, strong leadership skills, exceptional multitasking
abilities, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise.
The Estate Head Butler is a key member of the household leadership team, responsible for ensuring the
seamless delivery of personalized service and the efficient operation of the family’s residences. Acting
as a trusted partner to the Estate Manager, this individual oversees a broad range of responsibilities,
including household operations, travel logistics, entertaining, wardrobe and personal property
management.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, resourceful, service-oriented, and capable of exercising sound
judgment while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic private-service environment. Success in this
role requires exceptional attention to detail, discretion, flexibility, and a proactive approach to
anticipating and meeting the needs of the Principal, family members, and guests.
This position reports directly to the Estate Manager and is expected to uphold and support all
established operational standards, policies, and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Family Service & Lifestyle Management:
Anticipate and respond to the needs of the Principal, family members, and guests.
Provide exceptional personal service while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and
discretion.
Coordinate daily schedules, special requests, errands, appointments, and personal services.
Assist with personal shopping, gift sourcing, and special purchases.
Pack and unpack for domestic and international travel.
Coordinate transportation, drivers, vehicles, and travel logistics.
Welcome and assist guests as directed by the family or Estate Manager.
Assist with family pets as needed.
Wardrobe & Personal Property Management:
Maintain and organize the Principal’s wardrobe, accessories, jewelry, and personal belongings.
Coordinate tailoring, alterations, repairs, dry cleaning, and seasonal wardrobe rotations.
Ensure all clothing and accessories are maintained to the highest standards.
*Steam, press, and prepare garments as needed.
Manage inventory and tracking systems for wardrobe and personal items.
Oversee storage, preservation, and maintenance of luxury garments and accessories.
Estate Operations
Maintain the appearance, functionality, and readiness of all residences.
Ensure homes are fully stocked with household supplies, toiletries, medications, décor items,
and family preferences.
Conduct regular inspections of furnishings, artwork, lighting, equipment, and household
systems.
Troubleshoot household technology, audiovisual systems, Wi-Fi networks, and security systems
before engaging outside vendors whenever possible.
Support operational planning and budgeting activities.
Event & Hospitality Management
Plan and execute family events, business events, formal dinners, entertaining, and special
occasions.
Coordinate event logistics, vendors, rentals, staffing, and guest experiences.
Provide formal and informal food and beverage service.
Ensure exceptional hospitality standards for family members and guests.
Leadership & Team Support
Lead by example and promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and
service excellence.
Work closely with the Estate Manager to support household staff and daily operations.
Train, mentor, and develop household employees.
Support scheduling and operational coverage during management absences.
Help maintain established service standards across all residences.
Project & Administrative Support
Support estate improvement projects, renovations, and special assignments.
Assist with administrative tasks, reporting, expense management, and documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience supporting UHNW individuals, families, private estates, luxury
hospitality environments, or similar service-focused settings.
Demonstrated experience providing exceptional personal service, household operations
support, travel coordination, hospitality, and lifestyle management.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Valid passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
High level of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
