Private Estate IT & Smart Home Systems Technician
A high-end private residence is seeking an experienced and highly discreet IT & Smart Home Systems Technician to oversee and support all residential technology, automation, and AV systems.
The ideal candidate is technically skilled, proactive, and accustomed to providing seamless support within a luxury private household.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot Crestron, Nines, and other integrated smart-home systems
- Oversee residential Wi-Fi, networking, computers, printers, TVs, and connected devices
- Support AV, lighting, climate, security, surveillance, and home automation systems
- Proactively monitor systems and resolve issues before they impact the household
- Coordinate with technology vendors, integrators, and service providers
- Manage system updates, maintenance, upgrades, and installations
- Provide prompt and discreet technical support to principals, family members, and household staff
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Crestron and high-end residential technology systems
- Advanced knowledge of networking, Wi-Fi, AV, smart-home integration, and general IT
- Previous experience supporting a private estate, family office, or UHNW household strongly preferred
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Professional, organized, responsive, and highly discreet
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and work seamlessly alongside household staff and outside vendors
