HOUSEKEEPER – PRIVATE LUXURY ESTATE

Position Overview
A prestigious private estate in Rancho Santa Fe seeks an experienced, detail-oriented, highly professional Housekeeper to join its household team.
The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining an immaculate home, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and understands the standards of cleanliness, organization, and discretion expected in a luxury private residence.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated housekeeper seeking a stable, long-term position with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and no travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily housekeeping throughout the estate, maintaining exceptional cleanliness and presentation.
- Deep clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and other designated spaces.
- Care for luxury furnishings, delicate surfaces, fine finishes, and specialty materials.
- Handle laundry, ironing, steaming, folding, and proper garment storage.
- Maintain beautifully organized closets, drawers, cabinets, and household storage areas.
- Change and refresh bed linens, towels, and other household textiles.
- Ensure all rooms are consistently guest-ready and maintained to five-star hospitality standards.
- Monitor and replenish household cleaning products, toiletries, and essential supplies.
- Assist with seasonal deep cleaning and household organization projects.
- Work collaboratively with other household staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and respect the privacy of the principals and their guests.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional housekeeping experience, preferably in luxury private estates or high-end residences.
- Strong knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and care for fine furnishings and delicate materials.
- Excellent laundry and garment care skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, as well as as part of a household team.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
- Dependable, punctual, discreet, and trustworthy.
- Ability to follow established household protocols and maintain consistently high standards.
- Strong references from previous employers.
