Seeking a passionate and extremely organized experienced Private Chef to support high-profile principals in a multi-staffed large estate in Miami Beach.

Must work well in a large, multifaceted team, be able to stay on schedule and strive to deliver top quality meals, pastries, and desserts always. Chef will report directly to the Estate Manager, and travel to other properties may be required. Confidentiality and discretion are of paramount importance.
Primary Responsibilities: Typical tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee kitchen operations, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen always.
- Work efficiently and quietly in a family kitchen environment with family members present.
- Responsible for creating, planning, and executing high-quality meals and providing a world-class dining experience for the family and guests.
- Advance menu planning and design, this includes designing menus in advance and incorporating seasonal ingredients. A genuine passion for continuous learning and culinary growth is essential.
- Ensure all food preparation adheres to health and safety regulations, with a focus on sanitation and proper food handling.
- The chef team is responsible for keeping inventory logs up to date and proactively replacing ingredients before expiration.
- Flexibility and Adaptability are key. The Chef must be prepared to change mealtimes and locations at a moment’s notice. The ability to adjust to changing circumstances and requirements is required.
- Chef team will Maintain knowledge of the family’s and frequent guests’ meal preferences and coordinate seamlessly with the service team. Effective collaboration and a professional attitude are essential for success within the household staff environment.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 7+ years’ experience as a Head Chef, ideally working with UHNW individuals.
- Must have expertise in at least two specialty cuisine’s and be highly skilled in making pastries and desserts as both are integral to this role.
- The Chef must possess outstanding organizational skills and skilled at prioritizing and completing tasks with a sense of urgency.
- Willing to travel 25% of the time.
- Professional in appearance and demeanor.
- Travel coordination and event planning experience preferred.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English verbally and written.
- Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License, Passport, and reliable, insured vehicle.
- Successful completion of thorough background investigation and reference checks.
Schedule:
This is an exempt full-time position. Chef will be required to adjust schedules based on the principals’ and guests’ needs, must be flexible and willing to travel, work evenings, long days, weekends and potentially on holidays.
